CAMPBELLSBURG, Ind. -- A woman in southern Indiana woke up to derogatory vandalism last week, which she showed in a Facebook Live video that has since gone viral.
In the video, Mia Frias-Russell, of Campbellsburg, Indiana, which is approximately 45 minutes to the Kentucky border, takes viewers on a walk around the yard of her home. Spray painted words with derogatory terms "N****" and "B****" adorn her shed and SUV. She also shows damage to her vehicle's gas cap.
Frias-Russell said the vandalism happened in the overnight hours of Tuesday into Wednesday, July 20.
In the video, she can be heard sobbing, and admits she's scared.
The video has since been viewed more than 5.7 million times, and shared more than 120,000 times.
Frias-Russell, a single mother of three, told WDRBin Louisville that the vandalism likely stems from a custody battle she's in. She told WDRB a private detective recently came to town to spread stories to her neighbors.
Indiana State Police has been involved and they said they are taking it seriously.
