NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- Three people were hospitalized Thursday morning following a serious crash on State Road 37 at 146th Street.
An official with the Noblesville Police Department said two surveyors had pulled over and parked in the right shoulder when their car was hit by a pickup truck.
The surveyors' car then hit the two people. They were both airlifted from the scene, one to IU Methodist, and the other to St. Vincent on 86th Street.
The driver of the pickup truck was also taken to the hospital, but by a ground ambulance.
The northbound lanes of State Road 37 is open, but the southbound lanes will be closed until about 12:30.
