FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Fort Wayne police say a 7-year-old girl is expected to make a full recovery after stray gunfire struck her leg while she slept in a bed.
Police say the 7-year-old was struck once near a knee and once in the bottom of a foot early Sunday after bullets entered the house from outside. She was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
