INDIANAPOLIS - An Indianapolis woman admitted to being drunk when she crashed into a Broad Ripple business early Friday, police said.
The crash happened just before 4 a.m. near 64th Street and College Avenue, where the woman's SUV was found up against a brick building of a video production company.
Officers found Katelyn Fifer, 25, in the driver's seat with injuries to her face.
When they asked Fifer about the crash, she said she "had a bad day, went out for some drinks and a good time and that she was sorry," according to the police report.
Fifer, who police said smelled of alcohol, was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital for her injuries.
She was later arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
