INDIANAPOLIS -- An SUV ran into a road construction site Tuesday morning, police said.
The crash happened around 7 a.m., near the intersection of 82nd Street and Hague Road.
A tan GMC Envoy SUV ran into the construction.
Police say the man driving the SUV suffered a stroke, then crashed. He was taken to St. Vincent Hospital.
Two construction workers had minor injuries and one was taken to a hospital to be checked out. The workers had parked their truck in the street to be a buffer from traffic, which ended up saving them from being hurt worse.
Editor's note: Police initially said the vehicle was a Chevy Trailblazer, but it is a GMC Envoy.
