JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. - The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death of a Center Grove High School student.
Samuel Motsay, 16, was found dead Sunday in a home in the 1000 block of Old Eagle Way.
Authorities said a substance was found near his body, but they won’t know for sure what it is until it is analyzed by the Indiana State Police.
Police said two other juveniles were in the house when Motsay's body was found.
Center Grove High School Principal Doug Bird released the following statement Sunday:
"Center Grove High School has suffered a loss. One of our students lost his life this weekend. Counselors will be available at the high school all day Monday in the Guidance Office for any students who wish to speak with someone. Members of the local ministerial association will also be available for anyone wishing to speak with a member of the clergy."
