INDIANAPOLIS – A teenager is listed in serious condition after being shot Sunday morning on Indianapolis’ southeast side in the parking lot of IMPD’s southeast district headquarters.
Shortly after 2 a.m., officers found a male suffering from at least one gunshot wound in the 1100 block of S. Shelby Street.
He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in serious condition.
Officers believe the victim was in the lot for an Offer Up deal when the suspect robbed and shot the teen.
Aggravated Assault detectives were called to the scene and are looking for witnesses.
The teen's name has not been released.
