FORT WAYNE, Ind. -

Hundreds of people gathered in Fort Wayne early Tuesday in anticipation of a visit by the leader of Myanmar's democracy movement.

Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi , 67, was scheduled to speak at the Fort Wayne's Memorial Coliseum.

Organizers said they expected at least 7,000 people to gather to hear Suu Kyi speak.

Inside the coliseum, four Burmese men were hanging signs welcoming Suu Kyi to the city that has one of the nation's largest Burmese communities.
