Tip leads Fishers PD to 33 lbs. of marijuana

FISHERS, Ind. - A man and woman were arrested on multiple drug and weapons-related charges Thursday after a tip led Fishers police to their home.

Police said they were notified of a possible stolen vehicle on the 11000 block of Igneous Drive in Fishers Thursday. The vehicle, a blue, 2013 Hyundai, had been reported stolen from Carmel the day before.

After locating the vehicle, officers knocked on the door of the residence where it was parked. They were greeted by a woman, Terry R. Galloway, 40, of Fishers. Officers reported a "strong odor of burnt marijuana" coming from the residence.

As officers were securing the perimeter of the residence, a man exited, identifying himself as Michael D. Dudley, 35, of Fishers.

Upon obtaining a search warrant, police entered the residence, where they said K-9 Officer Bas located several 5-gallon buckets containing marijuana. The marijuana was placed throughout the house, including in children's bedrooms.

In total, police reported finding 33 lbs. of marijuana and several firearms, among them a submachine gun with suppressor attached.

Galloway and Dudley were taken to Hamilton County Jail on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.
