Meltdown Winter Ice Festival
Where: Richmond, Indiana
When: January 28-31
The 3-day winter celebration features ice sculptures, an interactive ice park, treasure hunt, frozen fairy trail, frosty mug pub crawl, cork and canvas, and several more activities.
Visitors can also watch award-winning ice carvers create sculptures. More than 22 tons of ice will be sculpted.

8th Annual Brewers of Indiana Guild Winterfest
Where: Indiana State Fairgrounds
When: January 30 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday will be a beautiful day to sample some beers! More than 75 Indiana breweries will have hundreds of beers for guests to try at the 8th Annual Brewers of Indiana Guild Winterfest.

Souper Bowls 2016
Where: Second Helpings located at 1121 Southeastern Avenue, Indianapolis
When: January 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Why not do some good while filling your belly with delicious soup? For $10, guests can sample soups from some of the city's well-known chefs. All proceeds benefit Second Helpings, an organization that creates 4,000 hot meals each day that are distributed to 80 social service agencies to feed people in need.

Indy's Bacon Fest 2016
Where: The Crane Bay located at 551 West Merrill Street
When: January 30
There will be bacon and beer. Do I need to say more? Indy's Bacon Fest is back for a second year. Some of Indy's best restaurants and chefs will be preparing bacon and pork inspired dishes. There will be several full bars and free parking.
