AAA Vacation Planning Expo

It's about that time when the winter blues start setting in. Even if you aren't planning a vacation in the next year, it's always fun to look! The expo includes planning options for road trips, tours, cruises and complete travel packages. Guests can also stop by the AAA Travel store to buy luggage and travel accessories.

Mardi Gras on Main
When: Feb. 6
Where: Speedway
Drink bourbon, eat Cajun food, and listen to live music at the third annual Mardi Gras on Main in Speedway. Live music will be played at the Dallara IndyCar Factory from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. There is a $5 charge for the live music portion of the event.

Carnval Brazil 2016
When: Feb. 6
Where: Jazz Kitchen located at 5377 North College Ave
Enjoy one of the most celebrated parties in the world from Indianapolis. The 2016 Carnaval celebration includes samba dancers, a Brazilian samba band, a special menu with Brazilian food, Brazilian beers, juices and soft drinks. A big screen will also display the Carnval parade in Rio de Janeiro.

Chinese New Year at the Children's Museum
When: Feb. 6
Where: The Children's Museum of Indianapolis
Celebrate the Chinese New Year at the museum. There will be performances from the Indianapolis Chinese Community Center and the Indianapolis Chinese Orchestra. Guests can also have their name written in traditional Chinese calligraphy.

Melt the Trail 5K Run/Walk
When: Feb. 6
Where: Westfield
Warm up your body and your heart at the Melt the Trail run. The run is a Valentine's themed fun run. Participants can dress up in homemade Valentine's Day costumes.
