INDIANAPOLIS – Although the temperatures will drop this weekend, it doesn’t mean you should cancel your outdoor plans – and this weekend will bring plenty of options.
Here are your top six things to do this weekend in Indianapolis.
Taco Trucks Festival
Indiana Discount Mall – 3585 Commercial Drive
Sunday from 2-9 p.m.
You may be familiar with the Taco Festival happening this June, but there is another reoccurring taco event held on the city’s northwest side. Every third Sunday you’ll find 8-10 food trucks serving tacos and more in the International Marketplace Neighborhood.
Celebrate Earth Day by giving back to our planet at the Earth Day Indiana Festival. The event will highlight over 125 nonprofits, companies and groups. There will also be music, environmentally-focused projects and food vendors. The event will also include a 5K/walk.
As Spring is in full swing, business owners along the canal invite you to check out services and items they have to offer. You’ll begin by grabbing your passport from the Downtown Indy tent to have stamped as you make your rounds.
Each Spring, 15 artists are invited to showcase their talents by creating animal art using clay or paint on a canvas. Projects are created outdoors near animal exhibits, so guests can witness the art transformation. A youth event is also available for those ages 9-12.
