Traffic stop yields burglary suspect

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. - A traffic stop in Carmel led police to a man now accused of burglarizing three Noblesville businesses.

Just before 10 p.m. Sunday, Carmel police notified Noblesville authorities that, during a traffic stop near 106th Street and Keystone Parkway, they had discovered several televisions and laptop computers inside a suspect vehicle.

Police said some of the items suggested a possible connection to a dental clinic or office in the Noblesville area.

Noblesville police then discovered that several businesses in the 400 block of Sheridan Road appeared to have been burglarized, including Noblesville Family Dentistry, Meridian Title and Noblesville Foot Clinic.

Police said forced entry was gained into each business, and owners reported multiple items missing, including TVs and laptop computers.

The driver of the stopped vehicle, 52-year-old Anthony Wayne Reed, of Indianapolis, is now facing six felony charges of theft and burglary in connection with the Noblesville businesses.
