Two arrested on meth-making charges

INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana State Meth Suppression Troopers made two arrests Wednesday on the far east side and the McCordsville area.
Troopers said the arrests stemmed from a July investigation into reports of suspicious odors and a large number of people coming in and out of a resident on east 50th Street.
Search warrants were subsequently obtained for two residences – one at 8044 E. 50th Street and one at 12305 Riley Road. During the search of the Riley Road residence, troopers said they found precursors associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine and paraphernalia commonly found in a "one pot" meth lab.
In connection with the investigation, troopers arrested Dean Fellers, 51, on charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, and Travis Eaton, 30, on charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of two or more precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.
Eaton was also charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Both suspects were taken to the Marion County Jail without incident.
