CASTLETON, Ind. -- Two people were hospitalized after a crash in Castleton Thursday morning.
Police say a pickup truck collided with an SUV around 11:30 a.m., right in front of one of the entrances to Castleton Square Mall, on 82nd Street.
The woman who was driving the pickup truck was trapped inside, and firefighters had to turn the truck back up and push the dashboard back with special tools to free her.
She was taken to Methodist Hospital in serious condition. Another person in the truck with her is being treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the SUV has minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Police are still working to figure out exactly how the crash happened.
