GREENWOOD, Ind. - Police are investigating after vandals hit more than a half-dozen homes and cars in a Greenwood neighborhood.

Seven homes and vehicles were found spray painted with vulgar phrases and pictures Sunday morning, said Greenwood Police Department Assistant Chief Matt Fillenwarth

All of the incidents took place on Broadway, Pearl or Water streets, Fillenwarth said.

A nearby guardrail was spray painted with a vulgar phrase, and an area homeowner reported her Christmas lights had been cut as well.

Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call Greenwood police.
