INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are looking for a person of interest related to a homicide that happened earlier this month.

Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department say Robert Drake, 26, is wanted only for questioning.

The homicide happened Sept. 6 on the 1000 block of North Kealing Avenue, near the intersection of 10th Street and Sherman Drive.

Officers arrived to find an unresponsive victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police believe an argument between two males began in a house and spilled out onto the street.

One of the men then shot the other one, before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

It was a block away from where another person was shot and killed earlier in the same day.

Around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, police found 44-year-old David Ruby with a fatal gunshot wound just two blocks away – on the 1000 block of North Kealing Avenue.

Ruby was the city's 97th criminal homicide of the year.

Even though the homicides are very close to one another, police say they haven't found a connection between them.
