MONTICELLO, Ind. - The three people killed in a triple shooting in Monticello on Tuesday were identified by police Wednesday afternoon.
The murder-suicide happened in the parking lot of Jordan Manufacturing Company around 11:30 a.m., officials with the White County Sheriff’s Office said.
Police said Israel Rogel, 42, arrived to the plant looking for his soon-to-be ex-wife Delia Gonzalez, 43. While he waited outside the factory, Gonzalez and Augustin Oliver, 42, arrived in the parking lot.
Oliver and Gonzalez were friends and co-workers at the factory, police said. During a break, they left the factory together in a car.
Rogel approached the passenger side of the car and shot Oliver and Gonzalez before he shot himself in the head, police said.
Rogel and Oliver died of gunshot wounds to the head and Gonzalez died of gunshot wounds to the head and chest.
