INDIANAPOLIS -- One central Indiana teacher is trying to get more school supplies for students in the area, but she needs your help.

Carrie Czarnecki, a teacher at Garden City Elementary, is a finalist for the 2016 Farmers Insurance Dream Big proposal.

Teachers across the country submitted proposals for what a $100,000 grant would do for the community.

Czarnecki's proposal, called "Equitable Access to School Supplies for All Students," is focused on getting more school supplies for students in central Indiana. She said she'll work with Teachers' Treasures to pay for school supplies.
