WATCH: Camera captures firefighter's shooting

INDIANAPOLIS -- New surveillance video shows an off-duty Indianapolis firefighter being shot earlier this month.

According to IFD, the firefighter, identified as Michael "Kevin" Gill, 49, stopped by a friend's house for food around 10:00 a.m. in the 2200 block of East 38th Street.

As he was walking back to out to his car, a man shot him in the torso. He ran across the street to the Muhammad Mosque 74 and asked someone to call police. 

Jerry Glover, 37, is wanted for attempted murder. He is about 5-foot-8-inches tall, 175 pounds, and was wearing a light gray T-shirt, gray and white shorts, black socks and brown slippers.

He was carrying a Sentry Arms .223 assault rifle and should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Glover drove away from his house on 38th Street in a white 1993-96 four-door Chevy Caprice with 22-inch rims and tinted windows.
