INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly joined Good Morning Indiana on RTV6 Friday morning and discussed Carrier's move to Mexico, taking away 1,400 jobs from Indianapolis.
"I want [Carrier] to sit down and talk to us about how we can work through this," Donnelly said. "At least talk to us about working through this, as opposed to just saying 'We're leaving.' Carrier's CEO paid himself $10 million last year. They made over $7 billion in profits. Their profits went up almost 20 percent last year. They have been the benefits of extraordinary success, created in part by, and in large measure by these workers -- and the ones in Huntington."
Donnelly also discussed the open Supreme Court seat, and whether or not President Barack Obama should nominate somebody for the spot.
