The troopers who patrol for drug trade

A major drug bust outside a Fishers Wal-Mart this week has been trending nationally on Facebook. Commercial drug trafficking is a problem that Indiana State Police deal with on a daily basis. So we got an inside look at how troopers are tracking down the problem.

Troopers with ISP not only conduct safety inspections, they check for drug trafficking, illegal weapons and even human trafficking.

We got our hands on some numbers from just central Indiana alone. In 2015, ISP seized over 1,100 pounds of marijuana and more than 100 pounds of each cocaine and meth.
