INDIANAPOLIS - Citizens Energy is working to restore water pressure to the Zionsville area after a water main break.
The utility confirmed a main was broken at 96th Street and Towne Road by a construction crew building a roundabout.
Ten customers in the area were completely without water, said Citizens spokeswoman Sarah Holsapple, but the construction was expected to be completed around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The McDonald's restaurant at 96th Street and Michigan Road, about a mile west of 96th and Towne, confirmed to RTV6 that they are without water.
The Town of Zionsville tweeted that Citizens had told the Zionsville Fire Department about a second break at Oak Street and Ford Road.
Holsapple said customers in Zionsville and Whitestown experienced a drop in water pressure due to the break.
