MADISON COUNTY, Ind. -
A water main break in downtown Elwood left some Madison County residents without water early Thursday.
Dispatchers said the break happened near South 16th and Main streets, and that Main Street was closed between 15th and Anderson streets so that crews could make repairs.
Madison County officials said schools were on a two-hour delay due to the break.
Residents were advised to boil water for 5 minutes before cooking and drinking.
