INDIANAPOLIS --  The Indianapolis Zoo's new giraffe calf is now one month old and he needs a name!

Zookeepers have selected three name options for the little (big?) guy:

  • Amazu (AH-mah-zoo) - which means "no one knows everything" in Nigerian
  • Jengo (JANE-goe) - which means "building" or "construction" in Swahili
  • Mshangao (ma-SHAN-goe) - which means "amazement" or "surprise" in Swahili

You can go vote for your favorite on the Zoo's Facebook page.

Facebook users who like the Zoo's page can vote once per day.

One lucky fan will also be chosen at random to receive an Indianapolis Zoo prize pack, including a giraffe stuffed animal and four Zoo admission passes.

Voting will close at 11:59 p.m. on February 23 and results will be announced on February 24.
