BOONE COUNTY, Ind. - A Whitestown town council member was arrested after police accused her of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Dawn Semmler, 42, was pulled over early Thursday and police said her blood alcohol content level was .11 percent, more than Indiana's legal limit of 0.08.
Semmler was arrested and taken to the Boone County Jail where she posted bond a short time later.
She's scheduled to appear in court next week.
