INDIANAPOLIS -- The WIBC radiothon to raise $250,000 for The Salvation Army Bed and Bred Club kicked off Friday morning.

The radiothon started at 6:00 a.m. and runs through 6 p.m. Saturday night. It is being held at the Emmis Building, where the WIBC studio is located.

Last year the radiothon raised $250,000.

"It's amazing how many meals we serve, how many nights lodging we give in a single year. It's almost a half a million meals and nearly 200,000 nights of lodging," Major Bob Webster with the Salvation Army said.

This is the 21st year of the WIBC radiothon.
