Some claim the Republican party is now deeply divided -- in both Indiana and nationwide -- following Donald Trump's win here.

So where does the GOP go from here?

When asked about some party leaders' concerns about his candidacy, Trump said he doesn't want everybody.

Indiana's Republican chairman, Jeff Cardwell, said he believes Trump will unite republicans in Indiana and elsewhere across the country.

Cardwell also acknowledged the concerns some republicans have right now is real, and some healing needs to happen for November's general election.

"Oh, there's certainly a split -- there are certainly a lot of hurt feelings at this time," he said. "It just happens in primaries. I think, in the end, they'll all come together and realize this is not just an election to elect Donald Trump -- this is about the leadership of the country and of the free world."

As for whether a Trump candidacy hurts Gov. Mike Pence's re-election chances after he endorsed Ted Cruz, Cardwell said he believes they'll work together going forward and a re-elected pence will have a partner in the White House.
