Woman, 80, rescued from flipped SUV on Indianapolis' south side

Firefighters pull woman from SUV

INDIANAPOLIS - Firefighters rescued an 80-year-old woman after her SUV flipped on Indianapolis' south side Monday.

Patty Genier hit a tree, flipping her SUV, near Madison Avenue and Stop 12 Road just after noon.

Rescue crews worked for more than 20 minutes to free Genier from the vehicle.

Genier was taken to Methodist Hospital with shoulder pain.
