INDIANAPOLIS - A woman and a girl were injured in a shooting on Indianapolis' east side early Saturday morning.
Indianapolis police said the shooting happened just before 1 a.m. in the 3700 block of Brentwood Avenue, near Post Road.
The victims were taken to Community East Hospital and were expected to recover.
Police said they don't believe the shooting was random and that they are looking for the shooter.
