INDIANAPOLIS – A woman was killed after she was struck by a vehicle on the city’s northeast side late Saturday night.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police said the woman walked into the street when the incident happened on 38th Street near Ireland Drive around 11:30 p.m.
Officers said the driver of the car did stop and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the incident is still under investigation. The identity of the woman was not released.
