INDIANAPOLIS - A woman was in serious condition Saturday night after she was struck by an SUV when it crashed into a west side restaurant.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. at the Egg Roll King near West Washington and Coolidge streets.
An SUV swerved to miss a van that was pulling into traffic and ran directly into the building, witnesses said.
A woman was pinned between the counter and the SUV, fire officials said.
She was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in serious condition.
Two people were in the vehicle. They were not injured.
