Woman wanted in connection with shooting

INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are looking for a woman and a gold vehicle after a fatal shooting Sunday night.

Around 8:30 p.m., officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of shots fired on the 2400 block of Lafayette Road. When they arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds. 

The man, later identified as David Bowman, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, the woman wanted by police was seen getting into a gold Chevy Impala before Bowman was shot.

The Impala has dark-tinted windows and a spoiler. It was last seen traveling north on Kessler Boulevard North Drive from the shooting area.
