Woman wanted in Fort Branch robbery

FORT BRANCH, Ind. - Fort Branch police said they've stopped a vehicle believed to be connected to the robbery of a Fort Branch tanning salon.
Police say a white female in her 20s entered the store, located at 207 N. U.S. 41 in Fort Branch, displayed a handgun and demanded cash. She fled after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.
The female was last seen running south from the store.
The suspect is described as a white female in her 20s, approximately 5'5" and 115 lbs., wearing a black wig and a multi-colored sweater. Police said the suspect wore a scarf over her face.
Around 3:15 p.m. Friday, officials from the Gibson County Sheriff's Department said they had located and stopped a maroon Lincoln Town Car in Princeton. Police said the vehicle matched the description of one used at the armed robbery in Fort Branch. A female subject was being detained and investigated for driving while intoxicated.
