June death on Indianapolis' southeast side now ruled homicide

INDIANAPOLIS -- The June death of a woman whose body was found on Indianapolis' southeast side has now been ruled a homicide. 

The body was found just after midnight on June 24, near the intersection of Troy Avenue and Senour Road.

The victim has been identified as Jeannie Howard, 38. 

No arrests have been made. The death remains under investigation by the IMPD Homicide Unit.
