INDIANAPOLIS - Police are searching for two men who robbed an Indianapolis cab driver at gunpoint Sunday night.
Security footage from inside the cab shows one of the suspects holding a silver semi-automatic handgun to the driver's neck.
The robbery occurred at 10:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Pershing Avenue on the city's west side.
Yellow Cab is offering a $5,000 reward for the capture of the two men.
"It's pretty upsetting that someone would go out and just try to make an honest living and individuals would, this kind of magnitude and this kind of aggressive behavior, would rob a cab driver out there who's trying to make a living for his family," said Tim Neville, with Yellow Cab.
Other taxi drivers said they were well-aware that their job could be dangerous.
Driver Oumar Yaffa heard about Sunday's incident, but he said this is how he makes his living and he tries to keep a positive outlook each night he gets behind the wheel.
"We just pray God to have a good customer, fair customer, I got a lot of issues with customers before, so I just give up and let them go," Yaffa said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
