INDIANAPOLIS -- Rep. Todd Young and presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio will remain on the Indiana ballot.
The Indiana Election Commission heard the ballot challenges on Friday.
The state Democratic Party and tea party-backed GOP Rep. Marlin Stutzman contended that Young's paperwork to run for the state's open U.S. Senate seat was three voter signatures shy of meeting a state requirement for him to appear on the May primary ballot..
Young's campaign dismissed the challenge as a "political stunt".

The commission vote was tied 2 to 2, so Young will remain on the ballot.
The issue will likely be headed to court.
By a vote of 3 to 1, the commission rejected a challenge to keep Ted Cruz off the Indiana ballot.
At issue were his birthplace and whether Cruz's name on the ballot matches his birth certificate.
By unanimous vote, the commission rejected a challenge to keep Marco Rubio off the ballot.
The challenge was raised over whether Rubio is a natural born citizen.
