Police arrested a man Wednesday in connection with the deaths of two men in a Broad Ripple home on the day after Christmas.

U.S. Marshals and Fort Wayne police took Christopher Conwell, 20, of Fort Wayne, into custody in the northeastern Indiana city Wednesday morning, 6News' Rafael Sanchez reported.

Detectives previously released information about a suspect and car they were looking for in connection with the case that they believed was headed to Fort Wayne.

Avery Elzy, 34, and Michael Hunt, 22, were found dead in the home in the 5800 block of Rosslyn Avenue on Dec. 26.

Police said Elzy and Hunt may have been killed earlier in the week and that one of four pit bulls in the home was also found dead.

Investigators didn't immediately release information about how the victims died and they declined to release information about a possible motive.

Conwell was being transported to Indianapolis Wednesday afternoon, where detectives planned to further question him.
