A Speedway man missing for six weeks has been found safe, police said.

A Silver Alert was issued Aug. 14 for Douglas H. Denzel, 59, who had last been seen July 27 at his home in Speedway.

Police said Friday that Denzel was found safe in Virginia. No further information was released.
