Man Sentenced For Arranging Sex Between Wife, Boys

Woman Previously Sentenced

A man was sentenced to four years in prison for arranging sex between his wife and two neighborhood teenage boys.

Deckard K. Zicafoose, 41, pleaded guilty in June to one felony count of sexual misconduct with a minor. Court documents show that Zicafoose asked the boys to engage in sex acts and fondle his wife, Misty L. Zicafoose.

Deckard Zicafoose expressed remorse in Madison Circuit Court before his sentencing Monday.

"I just want to say that I'm truly sorry for what happened," he said. "I'm not a big drinker. On this particular night, I was feeling good and Misty seemed cooperative and excited about doing this."

Judge Fredrick Spencer is allowing Deckard Zicafoose to wrap up his financial matters before reporting to prison.

Misty Zicafoose was sentenced earlier this month to two years in prison after she admitted having sex with the two neighborhood boys -- sometimes by herself, sometimes in a threesome with her husband and other times in a threesome with both boys. She had pleaded guilty to five counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.

Misty Zicafoose was charged with having sex with one teen on several occasions in 2004, when he was 14 and 15. The couple was arrested in 2005.

Deckard Zicafoose's defense attorney, Jeffery A. Lockwood, claimed his client's behavior in 2004 was atypical. Krause said that Misty Zicafoose's hyperactive sexual desire disorder -- which causes a person to have sex out of a sense of duty, not desire -- may have caused Deckard undue stress.

During Misty Zicafoose's sentencing, a psychiatrist testified that she had been diagnosed with depression and hyperactive sexual desire disorder.
