Police: Man Hits Guardrail, Thrown From Scooter

An Anderson man was seriously injured when he was thrown from his scooter Sunday night.

The crash happened Sunday evening along New Columbus Road near County Road 600 South, the Herald Bulletin reported.

Keith B. Klein, 66, lost control of his scooter, struck a guardrail and was thrown, police said.

Klein was airlifted to St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis with a broken pelvis, a broken leg, cuts to his legs and abdomen and internal injuries, police said.
