Manufacturing Company To Bring 175 Jobs To Anderson

Impact Container, Inc. To Invest $1M In Anderson's Economy

A major manufacturing company is making plans to invest $1 million over the next four years with a new factory in Anderson.

Impact Container, Inc. announced its new location on Friday which would boost Anderson’s economy with 175 jobs.

“Anderson is proud to announce the addition of Impact Container, Inc. to the family of Anderson businesses. Impact Container builds an innovative product and Anderson has the employees to make them successful. We’re proud Impact selected Anderson, Indiana,” said Mayor Kevin S. Smith.

Company officials said they plan to lease space in the 1700 block of West 53rd Street.

Starting pay will be about $16 an hour, officials said.
