A central Indiana summertime tradition arrived earlier than usual this year.The 82nd Annual Marion County Fair opened on Friday, a month earlier than in the past.Event organizers said they hoped to attract more visitors with the earlier start date and by avoiding other major events scheduled for this summer, RTV6 Jenna Kooi reported.Visitors to the Marion County Fair can expect to find an improved Midway with more than 40 rides for kids of all ages.Grandparents Ron and Patti Brandt said they brought their grandchildren out to take part in the fun and games.We like to watch our grandchildren have a good time, Patti Brandt said.For more information about the Marion County Fairs admission prices and attractions, click here.
