Bolkes Family To Split $46.5 Million

The latest Mega Millions jackpot winners all come from the same northwest Indiana family.Hoosier Lottery officials presented a check for $46.5 million to the Bolkes on Thursday.Five siblings bought a ticket from a store in Munster, in Lake County.Their winnings are a portion of of the $93 million jackpot. The Bolkes are splitting the jackpot with a group of postal workers in Michigan.After taxes, the Bolkes will be awarded $29 million as a cash option, which averages out to be about $6 million for each sibling."We're a very down to earth, close-knit Catholic family. Everyone's plans are relatively low-key," said Jimmy McClellan, who spoke on behalf of the family. "The ages of my aunts and uncles range from 50 to 64, so they're more focused on being able to retire the way they planned on retiring."The Bolkes live in northwest Indiana and Illinois.
