Country singer Rory Feek recently shared a bittersweet photo of his daughter that's breaking hearts online.

It's been more than a year since Feek's wife, musical partner and Indiana-native Joey Feek—of Joey + Rory—died of cancer but her influence is clearly still felt in the family's house.

On March 25, Feek posted a photo of the couple's 3-year-old daughter Indiana watching her mother singing.

"Heartbreaking. Healing. Hard to understand," Feek wrote with the image.

The picture has been reacted to more than 145,000 times and shared more than 4,000 times since it was posted.

Shortly after she was born in February 2014, the Feeks announced that Indiana had Down syndrome. Rory Feek writes about his journey raising his daughter on the popular blog "This Life I Live."

Fans of the blog can find everything from old photos of Joey to photos of Rory and Indiana sledding down snowy hills.

The video Indiana was watching apparently showed Joey Feek singing "In the Garden," a song from Joey + Rory's 2013 album "Inspired." The pair won a Grammy Award in 2017 for their album "Hymns That Are Important To Us."

Joey's cervical cancer spread rapidly and she decided to stop treatment to return to her childhood home in Alexandria, IN. In March 2016, at the age of 40, Joey lost her battle.

On Valentine's Day, Rory released a book detailing the Feek's relationship and faith titled, "This Life I Live: One Man's Extraordinary, Ordinary Life and the Woman Who Changed It Forever."
