WHITE COUNTY, Ind. -- A pilot was killed in a helicopter crash while trying to help install electric towers in White County on Tuesday.

The crash happened near the intersection of CR 700 South and CR 150 East sometime around 4 p.m.

Indiana State Police say the pilot was using the small helicopter to feed wires through the tower when the crash occurred.
