State police were searching Thursday for a hit-and-run driver who struck a construction worker on Indianapolis' west side.The incident happened just before 1 a.m. in the construction zone along westbound Interstate 70, between Holt Road and Sam Jones Expressway.Terrance Abernathy, 23, was working when he was struck in the left arm by a blue SUV, police said.The SUV lost its left side mirror but continued westbound on I-70.Abernathy was treated for minor injuries.Anyone with information is asked to call the Indiana State Police Indianapolis Post at 317-899-8577.
