Police Investigate Odd Series Of Robberies

Victims Forced To Disrobe

Indianapolis police are investigating a series of robberies with unusual similarities, including victims who were forced to take off their clothes.

The first robbery happened on Monday night at 38th Street and Boulevard Place.

There were three more robberies with similar circumstances early Wednesday morning.

All four robberies were in the vicinity of 38th Street, and each one involved a man and a woman.

The man was armed with a handgun, police said, and in three of the robberies, the woman threatened victims with a stun gun.

The stun gun was used on one female victim, police said.
