Police are investigating the shooting death of a 21-year-old woman.Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 3400 block of North Carollton Avenue just before midnight Saturday.Upon arriving on the scene, police said they located Latonya Glass, 21, who was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.Glass was transported to Methodist Hospital in critical condition, where she was pronounced dead Sunday morning, police said.One witness told police that an unidentified black male approached a vehicle Glass was in and, after a brief discussion, began firing into the car.Officials said an autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning, and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Metro police homicide at 327-3475 or Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
