A man arrested outside a Bloomington bar early Friday had a blood-alcohol content of 0.336 percent, more than four times the legal limit to drive, police said.
Jason B. Klis, 21, of Killdeer Lake, Ill., was escorted out of Kilroy's Sports Bar at 319 N. Walnut St. at 1 a.m.
Indiana State Excise Police officers found him after he rolled off a bench in front of the bar and onto the sidewalk.
Police said Klis was unable to walk and passed out as officers tried to arrest him on a charge of public intoxication.
Klis was taken to Bloomington Hospital by ambulance, where he was kept under observation for nearly four hours.
Klis was later taken to the Monroe County Jail, where he was preliminarily charged with public intoxication.
As of 3 p.m., jail officials said Klis was still too intoxicated to have a mug shot taken.
